Giving Your Career the Best Start
Poipoia te kākano kia puawai – nurture the seed and it will blossom.
Each year GHA aim to award $15,000 to support greater Māori representation within the business community by proactively fostering and encouraging Māori into the accounting profession or wider business environment. Each October, we seek out exceptional full-time Māori students who have demonstrated academic excellence, have an enthusiasm and commitment to work with Māori, and are passionate about using their talent to benefit whanau, hapū and iwi. In 2019 we presented four exceptional wāhine with $3,000 towards their fees. (See our candidates below)

Scholarship & Internship Tripartite Partnership Winner

Xanthe Barton (Waitaha) is the inaugural recipient of the joint collaboration and will receive $12,000 towards her studies and will gain experience at GHA with an 8-week summer internship. This is an exciting collaboration for us and one we hope to expand and continue in the coming years.
