About the role
You will be a key member of the accounting team working with our Accountants to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for our clients. Your work will be high volume and require attention to detail and a love of processes and numbers!
Essential Skills and Experience
- At least three years accounts payable, receivable and payroll experience
- Basic bookkeeping and an understanding of how a business operates
- Experience in a time-pressured commercial environment with a lot of transactions to process
- Excellent computer skills especially with the Microsoft Office suite (Excel and Outlook)
- Confident user of technology and various software packages including Xero
- High standard of communication skills, both verbal and written
- High Standard of interpersonal skills
- A great attitude and great customer service
- Excellent organisational skills and ability to multitask
- An interest in te reo and tikanga Māori
